DD.Comment: Lots of great prospect info in today's blog, that you will not find anywhere else -- until others see it here and post it elsewhere? This site is different than all the other draft sites. We don't pretend to be pro scouts (we are not qualified to do that), but we do put forth a ton of information that is invaluable to real scouts and avid draft followers. This is, perhaps, the reason why several N.F.L. scouts have personally told us their teams read our blog daily, as have many writers from very well-known mainstream sports sites....With that, we'd like to ask our loyal readers to support us by letting their friends know we are here and checking out the products of our sponsors from time to time.

DD.Comment: The average 40 yard dash (hand-timed) for all the cornerback prospects at the 2009 N.F.L. Combine was 4.54, so Buehler's 4.57 (that the best time we have for him) was much more impressive than most would give him credit for. We know he's run several sub 4.5's on U.S.C.'s fast-track at 6' 2" and 230 pounds...By the way, DeAngelo Smith's hand-registered 40 times in Indy were between 4.50 and 4.58, so he does have decent speed -- just does not have enough speed to be a top N.F.L. cornerback?
